What Is the QLD Home Owner Grant?

The QLD Home Owner Grant (often called the First Home Owner Grant QLD or 1st Home Owners Grant QLD) is a government initiative designed to help eligible first-home buyers purchase or build a new home. This grant can significantly reduce the upfront cost of purchasing a new property, making it easier for first-time buyers to secure a home sooner.

Introducing the Kixstaart First Home Buyers Grant

Alongside government support, the Kixstaart First Home Buyers Grant provides an additional boost to make home ownership even more achievable.

Developed by Total First Home Solutions in partnership with AusFirst Compliance Partners, this grant is privately funded by builders and developers who contribute through savings they negotiate with suppliers. Instead of keeping those savings, they pass them on to eligible first-home buyers who build or buy through them.

This means you receive additional financial support on top of the QLD Home Owner Grant, helping you increase your deposit, reduce your loan, and move into your new home sooner.

Participating builders contribute to the Kixstaart fund based on discounts renegotiated with their suppliers and contractors.
